What is the purpose of SO Clear Media Productions, Inc.?
Our mission to educate the public regarding the truth about America 's registered sex offenders. We are active in three primary mediums: On-Line, On-Site and On-Air. Our On-Line website is the center piece for our media products such as our Response! Series videos that challenge the news media regarding its reporting of sex offender news. Our On-Site efforts focus on organizing public forums that include professional presentations, speeches and hand-out materials. Lastly, our On-Air activities allow us to take sex offender issues to the national and local news media through interviews and discussion on the current events of the day.

Why shouldn’t I believe the traditional news media today?
Americans today get their news primarily from the sound-byte, "profit before the public good" news media. Through the drive for profits, they have resorted to often distorting the facts, and sadly have lost sight of true journalism. America's news organizations have not been responsible in reporting fair and balanced news as it especially applies to sex offenders. This "hyped" news reporting has greatly influenced the American public to seek solutions to the perceived "sex offender" problem through our political system. Most of America's sex offender laws focus on former sex offenders and do little for the 95% of the new sex abuse cases that continue to ignore treatment and prevention as solutions.
In addition, registered sex offender legislation violate the our Bill of Rights in that they re-punish people for crimes already paid for, but also ignore ex post facto provisions of our Constitution by making these laws retroactive. The biggest factor of all is that due process was absent when passing sex offender punishment laws which violates separation of powers between branches of government.

Who is behind SO Clear Media Productions, Inc.?
SO Clear Media Productions, Inc. is operated by Thomas Madison of Clackamas, Oregon. Our SOclear members are those citizens who are required to register as sex offenders, but also include their family members and other individuals and groups that want to defend democracy, truth, freedom and liberty in America.

Why should registered sex offenders deserve any legal rights at all?
Basic legal rights guaranteed by our Bill of Rights, are for ALL Americans not just some or most. In the United States, the Constitution guarantees the right of due process, equal protection, right to face one's accuser, freedom from ex-post facto laws, and avoiding double jeopardy. All Americans should be aware of any erosion of any citizen's basic legal rights because for any one citizen to be denied their basic legal rights is an attack every American's legal rights.
